Illegal Terminal Must Be Controlled

Jakarta Acting Governor, Sumarsono instructs Jakarta Transportation Dept to continue control illegal terminals in the capital. Its existence becomes the main issue that causes the deserted passenger in legal terminal.

Jakarta Transportation Dept Head, Andri Yansyah disclosed, currently, illegal terminal controlling keeps being intensified. His dept also has asked Jakarta BPTSP not to issue the bus pool permit.

"Thus the arrival and departure can be directly through Pulogebang Terminal," he disclosed.

According to him, relocation to Pulogebang Terminal experienced a number of obstacles. One of them is technology information (IT) system that is in need of improvement, because it is never used since the terminal was completed in 2012.

"For IT improvement, we shall spend Rp 890 million. Another issue is lack of human resources," he uttered.
